Strange mail , from and to is same id

Just now I received an email in my inbox (filtered), subject was about stock market crash and weekly report. Curiously, I opened to see the content, it was some irrelevant stock talks. Further when I checked email message source, it also contained another strange conversation by someone about his absence on job due to mental illness.

Then I checked sender, it was ME, I mean my email was sent through my email id to me , so senders and receiver email id was same. Now, I cannot discard the mails by considering junk mail as sender contains my own email id.

Publishin my post using Qumana Blog Manager

While surfing , on one of blg I found the word "powered by Qumana". I knew that was some blog manager, which allows you to publish your post through a software sitting in your computer.

So I curiously visited the site. Surprisingly I found that they allow you to publish ad also in your posts. This is not something like Google Context Ad which sits on the sidebar of your blog and publish the conext related ads. However, wordpress, do not allow Google Ad Sense as, the code of Google Ads is to be inserted in the main body.

However, with Qumana , it’s ads go in air with the publication of the post and the ad is not context senstive. You can choose the ad to be placed as per the key words supplied to the system.

At this moment I even dont know how it will go but I am exprimenting with it.

Sanjay Dutt : Sentenced or set free?

I am wondering about the effect of the verdict of the trial of Sanjay Dutt. He has been relieved from the allegations of conpiracy of the Bombay Blasts, however he has been proved guilty under Arms Act for possessing the weapons like AK-46unauthrisedly.

The trial seems much of political drama, as the trial concluded in the era of Congress rule. Further, the Dutt camp is surprisingly relieved by the sentence under Arms Act, as if he has been set free. As the actor has been granted bail for appeal, which will be soon filed before the appellate court. Wherein, I believe the sentence of 3 years would be reduced to match the period of the judicial custody Sanjay Dutt underwent before he bailed out in 1994, and he will get set off against that, and he may not have to undergo any further imprionment.

Senior criminal lawyer and defence counsel for some of the prime accussed in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, Majid Memon, a short while ago said, “He possessed and admitted to possessing AK-56, which can’t even be lawfully possessed. Therefore, it was difficult for him to get out of the clutches of law. Any person, who has already spent some period in jail - that period is deducted- he can always knock the door of SC,” he said.

TADA court has found him not guilty for the conspiracy, where Salem who supplied the weapons, out of the consignment send by Tiger Memon for the blasts, is held guilty under TADA Act and also made confessional statement about having done so, and still the court is not able to find any link between Sanjay and Salem. If there is no link at all was established at all then Sanjay and rest of accussed of Bombay Blast could not have been tried togather for the blasts.

Sanjay Dutt has also given statement before the Police Commissioner after the arrest in 1993, hwoever later on he withdrew the statement and four out of five witnesses were turned hositle. Here is another glaring case where witnessess turning hostiles as happened in Best Bakery and Jesica Lal,  making difficult to conclude the judgment

However, I am not unhappy about the whole affiar and even if Sanjay Dutt gets set off against the sentence, as many previliaged accussed also get.

I am bored

I have been dis-connected , disconcerned about my blog recently. I have diverted my time and energy in share market investment, and I have some handsome amount in some un-handsome scrips So you might find me confusing you with stock market analysis and other things.

I am feeling bored for last 2-3 days, I dont like to do anything. Just want to sit idle.

I have not visited any fellow bloggers yet. I think I will do it now.

• What according to you, is a blog?
Ans . I believe a blog is an extension of a blogger/author as it represents his/her ideas/notions/thoughts. One can know about the blogger’s personality by having a look at his/her blog contents, layout, blog-friends, even comments by the bloggers and how s/he handels the readers reveals much about his/her personality.

• How did you come to know abt blogging?
Ans. I came to find blogger.com in back 2001, when blogsphere was not prospered (nor I was mature enought) like today’s ,and I had lost interest. But I cant remember exactly how did come to know about blogging.

• How far it has changed your perception?
Ans: Dramatically. I was able to see myself through my fellow bloggers and readers eyes, and I did know until they told me about my qualities and my feelings. Nidhi was first to point out that. I expressed my thoughts and ideas on my blog and I found myself much clear about what I was posting. Amazingly, these expereinces has led me to writing my diary regulalry, and now I enjoy writing for myself and for friends.

• Are you true to yourself while blogging ?
Ans: Yes, and I have found that when I write truly, from my heart it echos everywhere. If I am in doubt I remain silent, that is also another lessor I learnt while posting and commenting.

• Any blog? you wish to be the author of ? and why?
Ans : After flattering remakrs from Nidhi and Dipak, I think I am where I want to be.

My blog on WordPress blog of the day!

One can find ‘Top WordPress.com blogs today‘ and ‘Fastest Growing WordPress.com blogs‘ and same with the posts also. Recently while checking WordPress Blogs of the Day just curiosly I entered my blog name at search option in Archive section. And lo! my blog appeared twice in the list, on 03/05/06 and on 30/05/06 in Fastest Growing Blog list, and I did not know this.

Its great, its encouraging. Check yours, probably yours might have been listed someday.

Unable to create user id with timesofindia (indiatimes) website

I have been reading news articles on timesofindia.com (indiatimes) and many times urge to comment upon them and rate them. However, the portal requries, nothing uncommon about it , one should be registered with it. Therefore, I tried to create id with it , but on account of some technical error, or some disklikng towards me, timesofindia.com does not allow me to submit my application for creating id with it.

If someone knows how to do it, please let me know.

Flock : New bird in web browsers flock

While playing with Technocrati.com  I  found  new browser Flock. I am always excited to try new browse so I downloaded it from www.flock.com

It boasts inbuilt editor making blogging  easier. I am writing this post in the in-built editor. But they are warning for many bugs and errors as it is still in beta testing mode.
