This one was recommended by many visitors but I was not much thrilled about this particular song. However, after listening closing it reveals the true voice of the shayar, Shahir Ludhiyanvi, himself. The movies is also believed to be made in his personal life.

This was one of Amitabh’s offbeat (in terms of his own angry-young man tag) movies that did extremely well at the box-office. It was fitting that Mukesh lent his voice and he did so extremely well. I read somewhere Mukesh sung only thousand odd Hindi movie songs, and out of that 900 became extremely successful.
On the other hand, Kishoreda and Amitabh were an inseparable act in most of the latter’s movies, and the duo gave the film lovers some of the best entertainment that we know about from that era. I’ve mentioned about their mutual abilities in one of my blog posts here:

Wow!! kya khoob likha hai aap ne. waise to har ek post khas hai … khas ker ke …. wo ‘I need this to run my car’ wala jock bahut hi pasand aaya. per q ki main ek shayar jayda hun aur lekhak kam hun … yeh kavita bahut hi pasand aayi …
